Our Summer Program operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, ensuring a full day of learning, growth, and fun. Each day includes:

We use evidence-based models to help children and teens build resilience, regulate emotions, and strengthen relationships. Our workshops and group sessions include:

✔️ Coping Skills & Emotional Regulation – Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, kids learn practical ways to manage stress, anxiety, and big emotions.

✔️ Social Skills & Peer Interaction – Guided group discussions and role-playing exercises help kids improve communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

✔️ Confidence & Self-Esteem Building – Strength-based activities empower children to recognize their strengths and develop a positive self-image.

✔️ Healthy Habits & Wellness – Interactive lessons on nutrition, sleep, and self-care encourage kids to adopt routines that support their mental and physical well-being.

Our structured group activities reinforce the skills learned in workshops while fostering a sense of community and fun. These include:

✔️ Creative Arts & Expression – Art therapy, music, and drama activities provide an outlet for self-expression and emotional processing.

✔️ Outdoor Play & Recreation – Daily movement-based activities like team sports, yoga, and mindfulness walks help kids channel energy in healthy ways.

✔️ Community Outings & Experiences – Supervised trips to local parks, museums, and community spaces offer hands-on learning and social engagement.

✔️ Team-Building Games – Cooperative challenges and problem-solving exercises build collaboration, resilience, and leadership skills.

We ensure that every child has access to nutritious meals throughout the day, because good food fuels both the body and mind.

✔️ Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks Provided – Meals are balanced, and kid-friendly!

✔️ Allergies & Dietary Needs Accommodated – We work with families to ensure every child’s nutritional needs are met. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Yes, a mental health or behavioral health diagnosis is required for participation. This program is specifically designed for children and youth with mental health and behavioral health concerns.

A Diagnostic Assessment is an initial evaluation conducted by a licensed professional to assess your child’s mental and behavioral health needs. This assessment helps us determine the best support and services for your child. It is required for participation to ensure we provide appropriate care.

We ask for your insurance information because our Kids Summer Program is a day treatment program designed to provide structured, therapeutic support for children and youth. Just like visiting a healthcare provider, behavioral health services are considered part of overall health services.

Since our program offers evidence-based care led by licensed professionals, we bill insurance to ensure children receive the support they need.

You will need to provide:

  • Insurance information

  • Guardianship paperwork (if you are the child’s legal guardian)

  • Any relevant medical documents

  • Medications (if your child is taking medication for behavioral health concerns)

We welcome and often work with children on the autism spectrum! Our program is designed for children who can actively participate in a structured behavioral health setting without requiring a one-on-one aide or additional support for daily living tasks. To ensure we can provide the best care, children should be verbal and able to engage in group activities with guidance from our team.

If you’re unsure whether our program is the right fit for your child, please reach out—we’re happy to discuss your child’s needs and help guide you to the best resources!

We understand that every child’s needs are unique, and behavioral challenges can be a concern for many families. While our program specializes in mental and behavioral health, we are not fully equipped to provide the level of individualized support required for children who need assistance with toileting, a one-on-one aide, or specialized physical accommodations.

If you’re unsure whether our program is the right fit for your child, please reach out—we’re happy to discuss your child’s needs and help guide you to the best resources!

There is no limit to the number of children you can sign up. However, we ask that you provide each child’s name and age when registering so we can best prepare for their participation.

We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform us of any special dietary needs during the registration process so we can make the necessary arrangements.

If we are unable to meet your child’s dietary requirements, we kindly ask that you plan to pack their meals to ensure they have safe and suitable options.

Drop-off and pick-up times will be provided upon registration. We ask that families arrive on time to ensure a smooth transition for all participants.

If you have concerns about transportation, please contact us to discuss possible options. Transportation may available on a case-by-case basis.
