What is a Level 2 House?

Vital Health’s Level 2 Recovery Housing offers a structured, substance-free living environment for individuals committed to recovery. This type of housing, as defined by Ohio law, provides a balance of peer support and accountability while allowing residents some level of independence.

In Level 2 housing, residents live in a shared home with others in recovery, following house rules that promote sobriety, personal responsibility, and community engagement. While onsite staff or house managers provide oversight and support, residents are expected to actively participate in their recovery journey by attending peer-led meetings, outpatient treatment, or other recovery-related services.
